Description
Our Chef Romina was born and raised in Rome. She has more than 10 years experience working as a chef and an utter love for food, cooking and meeting new people from all over the world. Travelling and discovering the world through food are two of her favorite things and this is why she started this project. She truly believes there’s no best way to explore another culture than do it through its local food, especially in Italy, and to do that eating in a restaurant it’s just not enough!
We offer a variety of cooking experiences to give people the chance to feel at home in Rome, get their hands dirty and cook like a local, bringing home an experience to forever cherish:
The Master Fresh Pasta to learn how to make traditional Italian pasta from scratch with a local Italian chef.
Aperitivo Class to learn how to prepare a traditional apertivo’s finger food and the famous Italian spritz!
Gourmet Dinner to enjoy five delicious courses while having our chef’s demonstration.
Social Eating a four courses traditional Roman dinner with our chef’s demonstration in a beautiful atmosphere where you can meet new people.
We love and cherish the massive food tradition Italy has to offer and at the same time we like experimenting with flavors and give our recipes that modern twist that brings your taste buds to a fantastical journey, that is why the plates we offer range from the authentic Roman cuisine to a more refined and contemporary cuisine, constantly keeping our focus on the quality of our ingredients, always local and seasonal.
To make our experiences even more unique, they’ll take place in a hidden gem of Rome that, back in the Middle Ages, was a granary owned by the Vatican, located in the historical neighborhood of Borgo Pio.
Built between the 1100 and 1200, this place goes back to the middle ages when it served as storage for wheat and was the official Vatican granary until the 1500s. Situated in the historical area of Borgo, steps away from St. Peter Basil.
Borgo is a tiny, medieval neighborhood nestled between Castel Sant’Angelo and St. PeterBasilica, just adjacent the Vatican City walls.
Nowadays, Borgo is filled with locals and tourists alike, there are some local haunts definitely worth checking out and a magical atmosphere you can’t miss out to experience while in Rome.
